ADVICE PLEASE - Leather repair question - vintage jacket

Thread Starter
I am looking at a vintage leather jacket up for auction. There is a small area of damage that I am not sure if I can live with. While the seller has been fantastic in the description, I am wondering if I can have it repaired.

It looks like it has met concrete and sustained a small bit of road rash, and I am wondering if this can be "covered". If I find polish that matches the color, will that offer any solution to the issue? Are there any other products that can minimize the look?

Photo is attached, all ideas/comments/suggestions much appreciated. Thx

That's not road rash, it's just normal wear and tear. If you find the correct colour you can cover it with polish but the texture will always be a little different.

Honestly I don't see how that "damage" is a bad thing.
