Just a question. I'm curious if anyone has ever had an opportunity that was presented to them because they were dressed nicely. A spur of the moment job offering, a nice date with a female, or something along those lines. Stories are welcomed!

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

I have gotten out of fines simply by "looking quite handsome," take it as you will. I've also received free upgrades to first class by turning up in a suit whilst feverishly working on my laptop. But I've also been told point blank that I looked like a "corporate lackey" by an artist whose exhibition I was visiting. In my defense he was covered in kanji tattoos and had hair down to his shoulder blades.

I was about to say I got offered a job at Harry Rosen once, but then I realized I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans when it happened. I was talking to a regional manager (who I just assumed was another salesperson) about MTM clothes and he was surprised someone of my age cared about the satorial side of things instead of famous brand names.
Dress for success doesn't mean you will automatically become successful because you dress well. It just means there's one less thing to worry about when you're working hard to succeed.

Saw a guy in a nice suit yesterday who became quite dismayed after a pigeon shit on him.
Saw a guy in a beautiful suit, shoes, sunglasses, etc. power walking out of Chatham house with the back of his vented jacket tucked into his pants. I quietly informed him of this to which he replied, quite loudly, "FUCK"
