Something to buy in Milan for $300 USD

I'm going to Milan this Friday. My first time, looking to buy something for myself around $300... anything in particular I should look at?

Thinking about a new wallet or a pair of shoes. Any suggestions on what else I should look at? General travel tips?

Milan is a waste of time. Their main shopping district is pretty standard: Dior, Gucci, Prada, Versace, etc.

Trannie bjs can be had for 50 euros. I actually know this, not from actually getting one though. Try the Loreto area for that.

Montenapoleone is pretty expensive typical designer fare. Deals can be had during sale weeks. You can get stuff at the Via Buenos Aires Zara for a lot less than in America, IIRC.

sorry, have to disagree here. yes the place is filled with the big names. but in between them there are plenty of smaller labels.

I didn't end up buying anything (well, I did buy 2 Inter Milan shirts).

I was "one-bagging" (one carry on bag) for a week, nothing struck my fancy really. Most of the stuff I could get in the US anyway and it wasn't worth lugging around. Maybe next time, at least I know where stuff is now.
