I caught 5 minutes or so (from about :45 to :50) and it was pretty epic. I haven't watched since the end of 2009 but here is what I gathered from 5 minutes.

Tail end of nate and serena having some deep talk--are they boning again?
Caught Jenny sobbing in a corner but didn't think much of it
Chuck about to propose to Blair?
Dan punches chuck--ooohhhhh thats why jenny was crying (didn't chuck try to rape her in like s1ep1?)
Parents show up oblivious as ever but seem to still be happily together.

Did I miss anything by not actually watching the second half of the season or is this pretty much it?

If the chuck sleeping with jenny AND getting shot thing all goes down in this episode...I might actually have to watch it.

^^ You missed a lot. Serena's father finally made an appearance and tried to steal Lily back. Rufus and Lily were actually on thin ice for most of the season. Nate and serena were together for a big part of the season until serena started acting like serena again. Jenny was up to all kinds of shit. Eric is still ghey. Blair and chuck broke up and chuck gave blair an ultimatum.

Just finished watching the finale. I thought it was great except for Georgina. The pretending-to-have-a-child storyline has been done to death.

Georgina is annoying and not even that hot (she looks weird to me). I don't know why they keep bringing her back.

^ I think she can be entertaining in small doses but she didn't do anything remotely interesting in the finale. I kept hoping something with the Russians was going to happen but no. And while we're getting rid of people, Vanessa has to go.

Having not watched for a while I don't know what happened to her storyline, but she could be preggers (but I could also totally see her faking the shit out of it)

Oh, I guess that was this season... It was so long ago because of the break they took. She fucked some shit up for blair. I can't remember the details but blair eventually ditched the dorms. They hooked G up with some "prince" from the eastern bloc and she went away. He wasn't really a prince (mob guys maybe?), but I can't remember much more than that. I'm not good for details going back much further than a couple episodes.

a hrrobile horrible show, but blair waldorf is such an awesome bitch, with sick fashion. if i ever saw a girl like that iRL, i would drop on my knees and propose on the spot.
