i like the 256. it's plenty big enough for my needs as a student carrying laptop, a notebook, and a couple books. you can get a handgrip installed on it for an extra 20 bucks. the 257 is imo significantly bigger, but that means it carries more. I believe it also comes with a handgrip installed.

My Advice: Do not take it with you when visiting Bergdorf Goodman.

I've been using the 257 for a while now. I take it to work with my laptop, files, food, etc... I would highly recommend it, great overall!

I bought the 240 a while ago. It is a really solid bag and I like it a lot, but it's a bit too difficult to access things quickly. Between unbuckling the front straps and unzipping the main compartment, it's a hassle to use every day. It's a great little travel bag, however.
