Happy Mother's Day to all of your wives/girlfriends (if you have kids) and mothers. And also to the mother that we all know and love that posts here.
My mom is fucking awesome, and I love her so much. Hope her day is great.

Talking to my mom this morning on the phone, she said, "You know, I've never been much on flowers. I mean, I can grow those out in the garden. You know what I like, though? JEWELRY." I had to pull a Seymour Skinner, "I cant' afford that; I'm an educator!" Anyway, gotta love the moms. The only people on earth who can make you so angry that you feel like a raving, irritable 4 year old again, and then two weeks later they'll be the first person you'll call when you have a really bad day or get a promotion at work.

I love my mom but I dislike Mother's Day.

Then again I dislike Valentine's Day as well.

got the wife a day spa trip, was most pleased. eggs benedict for breakfast, crabcakes and garlic shrimp for dinner. Iron man and popcorn for lunch.

My mom is my hero. I wish I could see her this Mother's Day.

I sent her a card, and I tried calling. She didn't pick up, but she's a night shift nurse, so I may get a call back when she gets up for work. This one is kind of special because I got to tell her I hope to be as good a father as she was a mother. Hell, given she basically raised my brother and me alone, I hope I'm half the father she had to be.

I also got to wish MrsG a happy last-not-actually-a-mother-yet Mother's Day.

my mom... love my mom. she came over and we took her to the Yardhouse for dinner! can you believe that, she is a big Laker fan. we watched the game saturday and had a blast at dinner with my folks and my wife. bye mom see you soon love you.
