Casual Summer Hat

I'm having difficulty deciding which type of hat to wear for the hotter months. For my business/b.casual I wear a panama fedora, Acceptable.

But when I'm going to a BBQ or wearing my Polo shirt w/ Linen chinos and loafers, I'm not quite sure. I was thinking of getting the RL Polo baseball cap in white, but I'd rather not.
It was recommended on fedoralounge that I wear an Ivy cap, but I'm not quite sure if that hat fits me and that outfit. They also said I could wear the panama but I think that should be kept to more dressy wear.

Any suggestions?

Tricky. A true hat like a panama or fedora can come off a bit pimp-ish looking. A baseball cap can look age inappropriate or mediocre. That's why in general unless I'm working in the sun all day I do without hats.

small brim woven pork pie...

it all depends on your face however...

dont buy a RL baseball cap...

Not on the J.Crew site anymore but might still be in store. Might be a little easier to puff off casually than a pork pie, although I love the look of them as well.

This. I love trilbies... For a more classic but yet modern look, I like Stetson's "Streetwear" collection. For a more fashion-forward look, I prefer Eugenia Kim. I'm sure there are lots of other good choices out there, though... While we're on it, does anyone know who makes the pictured trilby or can recommend any similar alternatives ?
