I'm still left with two questions:
1) What is the extra piece of leather typically found wrapping the back end of the shoe?
2) What is the extra piece of leather called on the front of a shoe? I know what a "cap toe" is, and I know what a "wing tip" is. But what about when the cap toe or wing tip is merely punched into the main upper, and there is no actual additional piece of leather on the toe. What is that technically called? (See my E-G Inverness to understand my question)
