Cool. Thanks guys, I picked up the 3-piece today. It is still in perfect condition and is a great looking suit (to me at least).

Hickey Freeman= Good boring clothing.
At least in my local Hickey Shop. Very,
very, middle of the road. No flare.
No natural shoulders either.

I don't know why it's so popular on this board but from what I've seen HF makes some of the ugliest clothing in the world. Ugly lapels, ugly pockets, ugly fabrics.

A great pick up. I'm have to say I also pick one up last week during a big sale they had. 50% with additional discount I pick up a Madison Sport Coat from Nordstrom Rack for a little over $100. It's silk and wool blend though.
I believe the lot #'s, the first two numbers are a indication of the year made(someone correct me if I'm wrong), and this one would have been made in 2008. Number of lot starts with 08, I have picked up some suit's lately with an 09, or 00.

Just checked my HF suits and SCs, and I believe I can confidently confirm that this is an indicator of the date.

"Customized" is the old H-F designation for MTM clothing.

I've seen it on coats from as far back as the 'fifties.

Current H-F MTM has a different name.
