Many years ago I knew a teenager (more accurately- I knew his parents, mostly), member of the (Ponca) Sioux Tribe. He intentionally tried to ignore his identity and emulate the kids he hung out with, mostly Latino street gang... even affected a latino accent for a period.

Caused much grief with his family who were particularly proud of their indigenous heritage. I honestly don't know how that ever turned out.

this chick im seeing is mexican and she wishes she was white.

Says white people are just better looking and other dumb stuff that I dont really understand. I dont think she totally hates being mexican, but definetly wants to be white. Of course, she is from orange county california - where 99% of the people are cracker ass honkeys
