The 93+ RX-7's were/are by far one of my favorite portscars. The lines are simply classic, to the point that a 17 y/o car still looks modern and stylish. I've seen a couple go in the $15-18 locally, however I've always worried about how well the car was maintained by the original owner, the rotary is not an engine requiring little care or service. If interested in picking one up, I would definitely look into it's history, as well as check out some of the forum boards to see about common issues or repairs.

For that price, you can go brand new with something like a Honda Fit, manual trans.

SVXs are under 5k. Great winter car and summer cruiser. Eye turner, rare, but not impossible to find. Big online community as well for sourcing parts, etc.
