If you ask me, they didn't react harshly enough. This kid is lucky he didn't get pummeled. You have to show people the consequences for doing stupid, illegal shit like this.

My sister teaches at the high school the kid goes to. Update: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=5161474 "He said, 'Dad, can I run on the field? I said, 'I don't think you should, son,'" Wayne Consalvi told the Philadelphia Daily News of the conversation he had with his son. "I don't recommend running on the field, but I don't think they should have Tased him at all," he told the newspaper. Fact #1: If at 17 I called my dad and asked if I could run on the field, he would have said hell no and called me a dumbass. Fact #2: I have never been tased. Coincidence?

Finally a tasering that I can get on board with. Cops should be allowed to taser someone just for being a Phillies fan.
