That last boot is very pretty even though the inherent styling isn't particularly elegant.

Perhaps the poll was about these:

lol LK, that was exactly what I voted NO@!#)%*!#% to.

I have a few square toes that I would not even think of getting rid of. They are not chiselled, they are not K. Cole, they are simply nice square toed shoes.

This is about the squarest toed shoe that I am willing to wear.

I am surprised 70% of the SF members turn up their nose on the Holy Trinity of Square Toes.

To my eye, those have crossed over from tastefully square/chiselled to KC land. They are not sleek and do not flatter the shape of the foot. I wouldn't wear them.

There is only one sight worse looking than that shoe and that is the sight of about 50 of those same style shoes in various colors on the close-out racks of dept. stores.

I can guarantee you that the member that vote no were not voting no on chiselled or squared-off toes. They're talking about hideous shoes put out by the likes of KC, aldo, and every other crappy shoe manufacturer. The 888 is one of the most perfect RTW lasts ever made.

Squared-off across all the toes looks bad because it looks unnatural. The same principle applies to most other adornments of the human body, color notwithstanding.

Then explain the popularity of pointy triangle toed shoes on women.
