Almost affraid to ask, but opinions on these 7s? - Page 2

A lot of people here wear sevens. I was in NR yesterday and some guy was asking the sales guy when they would get another load in. If the jeans fit well on you and look nice, I wouldn't worry about what other people think about the brand to be totally honest. That said, I would probably stay away from A pocket heh

The wash is nice, but I would try them on in person, due to the fact that seven has some weird cuts.

Or wait to buy these until you've collected every single model from APC.

I second that. I've got a pair of bootcut that I bought a few years ago, right around the time I thought "They make decent-cut denim for dudes?"

Well, I went to UO to try them today for size. However, they are 98% cotton, 2% lycra, which I HATE, HATE, HATE, they feel like girl pants. So I passed. BTW, the PDC 3yr that they are selling are the SLM, I tried them and they actually fit pretty well. Too bad the quality has gone down so much.

Yeah, that combo is definitely not for everyone. Are you sure all of them were 2% lycra? I've seen that cut/wash in 98% cotton 2% lycra, 98% cotton 2% poly, and 100% cotton. Mine is the 2% poly and I rather like it.

I am assuming that they were all the same, if they were in teh same store, but maybe not. Anyways, I'd rather have a different, better made pair of jeans, I just wanted to give those a try because when I was into heavy distressing and more flared legs, 7s bootcuts worked well for me, so I figured their straight leg, washless jean might fit the bill now. I will keep my eye open when I'm at other stores though.
