Vintage crocodile briefcase for sale--SOLD

This briefcase is real croc, made in Switzerland, probably 1930s. Excellent size for modern use, measuring 18" x 11" x 4.5". Inside is lined (I'm fairly sure) in skiver, a thin leather still used to line briefcases, overnight cases, etc. Final price cut--now $375 plus $50 shipping in the continental US.

gorgeous. However I believe it is (the more desirable) alligator, as you can see the follicles in the tiles from the sensory pits, which is exclusive to an alligator, not a crocodile.

Should that be the opposite? Integumentary sense organs present only on the head of alligators, no where else. While in crocodiles, those are all over the body.

Yep, I had it backwards. But I was really thinking of the umbilicus that sets the gator apart from the croc.
