Oof. Bummer, man.

I gave the SR125is a go when I was in the market. Sounded great in the store, but I don't have the equipment to listen to them to their full potential.

Haha!

I would like to listen to headphones more often at work, but there are too many phone calls and going to conference rooms to make it worthwhile. Plus you don't look very client ready with head phones on.

Now that you have those iPhone headsets with the microphone, you could just pretend you are on a conference call when you are really listening to some jams.

I own these as well as some 225s which are even better. I think all of the Grado line is really terrific and recommend them highly. They can also be driven easily by an iPod.

I'm not an audiophile, but I've been really happy with my Grado Labs SR80s. Got 'em on right now, in fact.

Yeah it's very spartan but it fulfills its number one requirement- provide good sound.

although i'm a grado fan and have owned almost all their models, i think sennheiser px100 (or whatever they call em now, i haven't kept up) is the most ideal for your situation and requirements, and does not make you look headphone-geeky, like the grado's will, at the office.
