I just looked at a few LC and 4Runner reviews. I feel like if I were ever in this market I would need to get one of each

I’m aware. Just test drive one to figure out if you like the way they drive. Like I said, fancy suspension and gadgetry have come a long way.

Chrysler only sells ~~cars~~ minivans because the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna are OOS when someone is looking for one.

I wouldn't touch one of those regardless of whether it was a V8 or V12. The early 2000s were really a low point in quality for MB, lots of issues, and big repair bills. It's generally why even with 6 figure original MSRPs they usually sell for a very little.

I worked at their only minivan plant back in the late 80s/early 90s.

will be interesting to see how the new Toyotas shake out . ime the wrangler has been as durable as my old Tacoma was
