It's an '87. With the IS, it's supposed to have a front valence/lip that's quite hard to come by, but the previous owner had it removed as it was cracked and fading, which is unfortunate as they are worth a pretty penny.

Yah, the basketweaves are BBS. I love them, no reason for me to spend money on nice rims.

Nice Sonick. I love the interior! Too bad it's an auto. The 5 speed on e30's are great. Have you ever thought about lowering it an 1"? My e30 had H&R's springs and Bilsteins all around and I think it did wonders for the ride and stance.

Yup, that's my next upgrade! H&R Sport and Bilstein Sports. I am going for a long-haul touring car for long sweeping corners rather than an autocross track rat, so might spring for some beefier sway bars as well. Don't want to drop it too much as I want to daily-drive it in winter as well.

Took it in to have a tail light replaced today and they washed it up real nice for me. Then on the way home, a huge swarm of birds appeared overhead and one of the bastards **** dead center on the hood...

Silverstone does not tend to get much love on the forums, but I fell in love with the color immediately. I get more people commenting on the color of this one than any other bimmer I've driven..
