Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Spoilered the full CTS views in case some arent interested, I like it alot more than I expected, pretty sharp lines are distinctive enough without being too contrived or dull, a bit big at the rear end but not too too bad.

Front-end looks fantastic, rear-end, not so much.

yeah tail is pretty bland

yup, and only in comparison to the front-end, which is busy, but works.

if the front was more muted, the rear would look good.

tail lights are also jaguar xj-esque -- for better or worse.

Those DTLs are very Rolls/Bentley looking.

Looks good. I don't even mind the rear end.

looks great I'd drive it
the front end does look great.

looks great, better than the xts and ats... hope they release a wagon with a stick. even in non-v form, a 420hp turbo six sounds great.

also improve cue. touchscreen interfaces in cars suck, can't be starting at the screen trying to press the right shit when your driving.

The burled grain wood on the interior looks fantastic, as does the chocolate leather.

I'm actually quite enamored by this new CTS. The rear is at worst unoffensive and if that's the worst thing about the car, then sign me up.
That's the right word -- unoffensive. It's not bad, per se, but they definitely could have made it a lot more edgy like the front.

Also, touchscreen-based systems are atrocious. I don't know if you guys have ever used one extensively, but I had a Chrysler 300 rental for a couple days and the touch screen system made me want to gouge my eyes out.

It's dangerous to use while driving, too, especially because they combined the HVAC system controls on it. Just doesn't work. At least not in its current form.

The 420 HP engine is drool.gif worthy. Pair that with a 6 speed and icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif.

how the current CTS anyway? another fine midsize Cadillac sedan in the tradition of the Cimarron and the Catera? biggrin.gif
post #8999 of 27544
I've driven the regular CTS 3.6L version and it's alright. Kind of soft and definitely more appealing to an older crowd in how it drives.

Never have had the chance to drive the V, though, frown.gif.

The ATS is supposedly great.
