Yes, thank you! I particularly like the current generation of GC. The interior will definitely not be on par since we're comparing two cars that cater to two completely segments.

The SRT 8's interior is more luxurious but I won't argue that it's nicer than the range's.

Is it not used? I mean, you who have to so accurately describe it as "E46 ZHP" are asking why I accurately describe it as "used?" As to your accusation that's rather funny. Son, where I grew up, no one but rich people had a new car. And when I say "new car" I'm talking a Chrysler sedan.

I love bimmers but ZHP is just a 330 with an M aero package/wheels/steering wheel and 10 more hp.  Username79 is correct when he states that zhp prices are artificially high.  The amount of pricing overlap with used E46 M3s is astounding.  As Rick James memorably quipped "Cocaine is a hellova drug"

ZHP has hotter cams, different software, different springs and dampers, along with different interior and exterior cosmetics. 10 HP on paper doesn't sound like much but the car drives more differently than its specs would suggest. I remember when they first came out and someone brought a very new one to the racetrack. We all thought it wouldn't be a big deal, because of its modest specs, but it was a very impressive car, almost a good substitute for not having a 4-door E46 M3.

It's a cult car, but fully deserving of its reputation. And it's great when people keep and take care of their cars. The environmental cost of manufacturing new cars is something most people don't consider when they buy a hybrid or some other high MPG car in order to be more environmentally friendly.

As for overpriced, who cares? If someone's willing to pay the price, then it doesn't really matter.

We get it GF, you like your ZHP. I don't think you need to extol its countless virtues every few weeks.

Too small for me. Although, for 2013, it has a new engine, new interior, etc. If you're going to make the move to an MB SUV get the GL.

Thank you. Seriously, what a breath of fresh air. It's a regular 330i with enhanced internals and it makes for a nice midpoint between a regular 330i and an M3. That's it.

As someone who's driven a regular 330i as well, the difference is quite noticeable.

Yeah, well maybe people should stop antagonizing me over my damn car over baseless, inane claims.

Last generation 3-series. That's what I'd call it if it was mine and someone asked.

And my car? Just a 2012 GL. It will be gone at the latest in August 2014, could be as soon as March 2014. It's just a fucking hunk of metal I'm enjoying for a max of 24 months.

I will have you know that when people in real life ask me what kind of car I have, I always tell them I drive "an older 3 series." I understand the stigma that comes attached with being a younger person and driving a BMW, so I try to make it as ambiguous as possible in terms of the model name and throw in the 'older' term to make it clear I'm not the type of kid who leases a base 3 series out of college because it was the only one I could afford in terms of monthly payments with an entry level salary (although I was very close to leasing a 335is.. god that would have been the worst financial move I could have made out of college. Thank god I didn't.)

Only once has my answer sparked additional probing, wherein I realized the other guy was a fellow BMW aficionado and we talked about cars for an hour (post-meeting with a more senior co-worker; feels good, man).
