For some reason I thought it was the 964s that had eyes that were more relaxed and less "buggy" but that was the 993.  I've actually never driven either car.  The only 911s I have driven were a restored 1971, a 1980 SC and an 85 Carrera and they were all tailhappy SOBs.  Never got to really flog the Carrera but I loved it.  I went through a divorce in the late 90s and was ready to ditch my 2 year old safe "family car" for an older  Carrera or M6.  I figured I could have fit a carseat in either car and I would have been fine.  Well meaning family and friends talked me out of both purchases by suggesting that I was going through an early midlife crisis.  I should not have listened.

Ok a 964 is also acceptable fistbump.gif

FYI: That Singer is beautiful!!!  But $300k base price?  Maybe an older car (Carrera or a Carrera 2) with those bi-xenon Hellas, the Ohlins suspension and soundproofing would be a decent start.

Fine, I'll bite!

Who cares about lap times when you're ripping around in a 458 SPIDER around a proper track and having a FUCKING BLAST?!

I've seen this video at least 5 times already and it puts a smile on my face, every, single time.

Although.. now that I think about it, it would have been better if the skies were blue and the sun was shining in that video foo.gif

If I may interrupt this thread's obsession with BMW

Citroen has developed a car that runs on compressed air, pretty odd:

Ya no kidding. Can't understand why sliding a car around to the border of crashing and destroying your tires is appealing.

Wow, that interior is just magnificent.

I did. The kind of ridiculed it on the show so I wanted to learn more about the technology behind it.

It is, that car has grown on me a lot.

On episode 1, while I respect the quality and detail involved, that Pagani Huayra instrument panel looks like complete shit.

That looks like the exact opposite of my Land Rover instrument panel, which is basically an analog clock and a touch screen that would've been current in 1998.
