Dunno about the muscle car criteria. Steering with your right foot is a characteristic of any well balanced car and a basic skill required for performance driving. Unless you are talking about steering as in going in a straight line faster and not manipulating under and oversteer...

I don't really see the difference in level of maturity in egregiously speeding vs. flooring it off a stop light. Both have their thrill, both have their danger (to self and others) but both can be more or less unsafe based on several factors. Just my guess, but I think someone losing control at 100+ mph is much more likely to seriously hurt/kill himself or others than someone flooring their car and then laying off at 60 or so (this is given good, empty road with line of sight). I'm not going to call anyone names for speeding when they're on an unpopulated road and can't see why people would call folks that goose their car at an empty stop light names...but each to his own.

Is it weird that the BMW 635CSi I find more attractive with a bit of lowering? It is something I am usually completely against, but the Stanceworks 635 just looks pretty cool

The 964 was a bug eye wasn't it? Speaking of 964s, this feature on the Singer 911 is like car pr0n made for SF with its focus on the OCD production of the car (along with countless uses of the word "bespoke"):
