daily is a 2001 bmw 740i sport with 160k on the clock - I need new spark plugs and an oil change. I hope to get it to 200k with no serious repairs. I will keep it till it dies on me. I love that car for driving in and out for work.

weekend fun car is a jaguar xkr red vert (had to the top down today) beautiful day today.

the leather/wood in the car is amazing. I love the supercharger feel but I am glad I do not hear it. I loved the way the supercharger sounded in my saleen mustang (like an angry helicopter) but this is just refined power

I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't have a complete hard-on for Aston Martin.

the only aston i think looks good is the one-77.

the rest all look the same to me. i dont even care to figure out the nuances between the models.

i will say this though: they do make some of the best sounding exhausts, stock (after maserati).

That can be said about Porsche, Audi, BMW, etc...

The new Vanquish is actually pretty different from the older gen, basic style is there but this new one can't really be mistaken for anything in the Astons line-up right now.

Plus what does it looking all the same have to do with how beautiful the car is?

Beautiful seats, the steering wheel on the other hand is not.

 

It diden´t look like this before, but I can´t find any pics of how it used to look. Anyways, its a 1974 BMW 1602. Not sure whether I love it or hate it. The endless hours of welding, griding and all that shit vs. the joy of driving it. Bilstein Sport dampers and Alpina springs and new bushings makes for a great ride on rainy days.

I disagree. All the Porsche models are significantly distinct from each other. The same can be said about Audi. BMW, less so, especially with the new 3 and 5 series and how their tail lights are essentially the same. Even then, show me any car from them and I can immediately tell which model it is.

When I see any type of Aston, I can never, ever tell them apart. The new Vanquish does look significantly different, both in comparison to its old body style, and relative to the other models.

But overall, I don't think Astons are particularly beautiful either. I'm getting tired of their tail lights (same can be said for Maserati). Not saying they're ugly cars. They just don't evoke the kind of response I get from a Ferrari, for example.
