Damn, I haven't seen a Supra in AGES. Those things used to be all over the roads in S.FL

I think dude should put the rims from his Lexus onto the Supra and just put the stockies back on the Lexus.

Hmmm I think i remember hearing a few years back that a guy in Texas has one, (or a CCXR) because he had gotten caught speeding around 200mph or something crazy like that. No idea how true the story was though.

Pilot - OT question but I was walking on the tarmac last night and I wondered if commercial pilots have certain favorites amongst plane models, the way car guys look at cars and figure out which they like. Is that the case, or is it function over form with large jets? I was into planes a lot when I was a kid, but nowadays I like the look of those newer 737's with the winglets. They look really cool compared to the old school ones with the bullet engines.

It was during Gumball 3000.

Saw a 458 Spyder in the flesh earlier, it's not Ferrari's best work.

A lot of large jets are definitely function over form. They'll all perform about the same speed-wise and with climb rates. From pilots I've talked with, the 757 and 767 are supposed to be pretty incredible machines, but I'm not sure what distinguishes them. Most pilots are about creature comforts (of which there are few in most planes) and the way the cockpit is layed out. Now when you get into the corporate jet and general aviation world there are definitely the favorites and desireables you see in cars. Taller guys hate Lear jets because they have really cramped cockpits. They're rockets though. Guys flying faster jets (falcon 50, gulfstream V, hawker 800) will hate on slower Cessna Citations (Slowtation). Corporate jets are the most interesting because you can see who has the real money and taste, just like with high end cars.
