ha, i dont like him but you cant blame him for being a kid. kind of hated but kind of loved his blacked out CTS-V with the batman logo. Its like he went and spent $80k (or whatever they cost) to put into the car like a normal kid would go get a comic book.

Switching cars frequently will cost money, for sure. In my experience, the best way to minimize the pain is to either buy slightly used (where the large "drive off the lot" initial depreciation hit is already reflected in value), or look into short term leases. Leases can be great deals or terrible deals, just depends on the facts and circumstances, incentives, timing, etc. So if you can find a pretty good short-term lease deal, at least you know exactly what your out-of-pocket exposure is.

i considered leasing, but for some reason im a little gunshy. So i bought used...my car had depreciated enough to make it worthwhile. Im a cheap bastard, i doubt id ever buy brand new. shog[1].gif

Would never buy new either, unless I like the burn of pissing away decent cash, The last few cars I've owned were relatively high risk cars that never really ended up costing me much in repairs, no more than a Japanese car, so I don't really buy into the hype. That is unless I buy some abused off-lease car.

Btw, a little something for you depreciation folks to think about:

When you lease, the residual value is based of the MSRP. However, the amount to be depreciated is the difference between the residual value and the cap cost. So let's take the Benz I picked up yesterday. Due to MB's current blow out program my cap cost was about 14k under MSRP. See what I'm getting at?

Every single car I saw today that had 22" chrome wheels was driven by a black person. I am not even lying or making shit up. Literally, I made an activity out of it today during my commute to and from work. Every time I saw a car on 22" chrome rims boosted, looking ridiculous as fuck, I sped up to it to see who was driving it, and 7/7 times today, it was driven by a black person.
I'm too tired to care that people are disgusted by my comment. I've had two lonnggggggggggggg ass weeks at work and seeing these ugly-as-fuck cars during my commute honestly pisses me off, so much. I don't know why. I'm stressed.

Never realized how much these look almost exactly like a 2 door altima. Probably the same platform i guess.

totally different platforms.  the altima is a FWD and the G is based on a RWD platform.
