I give it a couple of months before the bank takes it, there last house is going into foreclosure (how he financed it IDK, I think his dad cosigned). They already had talks about his airplane, but its registered to a company that does not do a damn thing.

Cars in Canada are ridiculously expensive frown.gif. Taxes + freight/handling costs were like 3.5k? Something like that.

Importing cars from the states has heavy tax consequences. That as well as annoying procedures and regulations.

"If your vehicle qualifies for importation, you must register it in the RIV program when you report to the CBSA office on arrival in Canada. The RIV program registration fee is $195 plus goods and services tax (GST), and the Quebec sales tax (QST) for vehicles entering through a port in Quebec, or the harmonized sales tax (HST) in those provinces that are participating on the HST assessment. You will also have to pay any customs duty and other import assessments, including taxes that may apply"
