Oh, I would love to have DBS one day definitely a dream car. But for that kind of money I would go over to the Bentley section really happy.gif

VW, pff!

This is the strongest car I've ever driven, my father's Mercedes 350SL -73 (not pictured, but nearly identical. Cream interior in his though.).

233

Only vehicle I own is a Yamaha DT (80cc cylinder) for trashing around in the woods at my summer house.

Agree, E39 M5 'the beast' is my favorite BMW. Someone in this thread posted some really nice photos of his a while back. Maybe you?

if i decide to pay off my E39 M5 this year , along with all of the student loans..
then i can get another car - i hate to put miles on my pristine condition E39 M5 because its like my dream car ever since i was in high school... so if i get it, i would retire it into a true weekend driver role, instead of the occasional driver role its taking on right now.
i think the candidates are preowned M6 (smg), preowned Porsche C2S 997, or save up for a while and try to reach for a preowned aston v8 vantage?
i really like the idea for the SMG on the M6 because my mom and gf (both know how to drive manual but refuses to because they are lazy fools) can drive them when they want to (or the gf can drive it when i am plastered from booze)

do it. M6

I say get it! But I never been a fan of newer Porsches... I have an interview Monday, well at Macy (yuck, but I am need of a job). I will be in the market for a car if I get the job. Looking for 450 SL or SLC. Maybe a Jaguar XJS or XJ8. Either way it's to far for me to ride my bike daily, unless they had a shower...

look and read the article from UK's EVO magazine...
PDF file included facepalm.gif obviously someone isnt as much as a bimmer enthusiast as he makes himself out to be
we're not comparing E39 M5 with E63 and RS6...
when did i say that? i like how you put words in my mouth -__-
i said comparing with Panamera S (current model)
oh yeah XFR was a typo, it was VXR instead.

Have you read your own posts?

You are comparing apples and oranges.

The RS6 and E Amg are directly comparable with the M5, which the neither the Panamera or VXR are, so if we are going to compare it to something and use it as a benchmark, it should be to the audi and benz.

I never said I was enthusiast or fanboy, which it seems you are, so if you don't like having put words put in to your mouth, start sweeping.

Yup, tops out on 70km/h, but the torque on first and second gear is all you need in the woods.
I do wish to get a MC-license, I lack contact with a MC-driver who could teach me though. Driving lessons will destroy my rent/clothes budget, but come 2013, heavy-bike-licenses will have a 24-25 year old limit. If I get a summer-job, perhaps.. perhaps..
