Also had a first sighting of a Fisker Karma. They're stunners.

I saw a Karma about a week ago. Mind-numbingly beautiful.

With lots of sun and temps in the 80's, I've seen a few exotics roaming about Indy this weekend - Lambos, Ferraris, and the like. You rarely see these types here.

Am I the only one not overly impressed with the Fiskers look? I saw a couple in person in the past 2 weeks and they look good at first sighting but isn't jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I mean craftsmanship and the stupid "eco" shit they included are impressive but if it isn't so rare, it wouldn't turn much heads.

It's pretty cool looking. It's hard to make a 4 door that really makes any visual impact.

The Fisker automatically fails because it weights 5300 lbs. It's like a secret joke on environmentalists or something.

the panamera's design definitely makes an impact nest.gif

Yep.

I have seen 4 in Fort Worth (all promo vehicles - each time I saw a pair of them together...once in the Summer and once last weekend), and I think they're nice looking and all, but nothing more than a novelty. The PR stop here over the Summer was evidently a disaster because it was 105 degrees outside and they spent most of the day charging the damn things up after giving very short test rides.

saw another FF in the wild yesterday, this one complete with a douche bag driver who felt like driving really fast in the streets of NYC. Unfortunately, the FF doesn't have a particularly mesmorizing sound to it. 458 and 430 WAY better. And secondly, you just look like somebody going really fast in a station wagon.

Same thing came to mind although in a bad way. On the other side of the spectrum, Rapide is still the best looking sedan ever made.

^they're so ugly

haha exactly my point. Drew said its hard for a sedan to make an impact at all, but the Panamera definitely makes a big impact, whether good or bad

The Rapide is such an odd looking car, it sort of looks like they left an AM Vantage out in the sun for to long and then started pulling at both ends.

The Panamera on the other hand, has started to grow on me.

I haven't seen a Fisker in the flesh yet, so I'm going to keep my judgement for when that happens.

I love the Rapides shape. Instead of making it look bulky like the Panamera, the Aston it's just looks sleek and long. The Panamera is just borderline station wagon to and it's overall shape is more odd and awkward in my eyes.
