I'd take a white '94 in a heartbeat.

I was gettin into the "Bronco culture" a bit scanning the forums trying to get a better handle on just how pretty a black "Eddie Bauer" edish (*lol. More 90s than a VH1 special) is. While not the deathmobile matte black like the mechanic's one I poasted...

...I was still like "oh yeah. This works."

Some of you may remember a semi-rant unfairly lambasting Porsches as "generic" downtown. Well my profoundly unpopular Tahoe decision as the fammobile a few years ago over a used X5 etc was similarly one man's (my) attempt at originality. (*I was and remain profoundly satisfied lol) This would fall into the same possibly stupid but definitely valid line of thinking. Store this thing all summer (for free at my buddy's auto transpo warehouse) and flip to an equally "unique" RWD 'vert from who knows what year? Oh yeah. Daddy' "car"? No no. Daddy's *cars*. Old ass 2dr 4x4 Nov-April. May-Oct some kinda old droptop: 442 or vette or even SL600 lol. Hell, go pure mullet and secure a Monte or Grand Nash from some other lawn in the country! :P Any setup really sounds more fun than the 4000th old A4 on the road.

The kid still hasn't answered my email. Ima call tomorrow. Solid 50miles north into cottage country. Good wknd roadtrip w my 3 year old lol.

My main hangout partner in college had a K5 Blazer that he swore was a much better truck than a Bronco

Saw a new NSX and what looked to be a Ferrari 488. First time seeing either in person.

The Ferrari had giant Ferrari badges seemingly everywhere though. I don't get that.

My bias is fully known. Does anyone even want to make a decent electric car for the future that doesn't look like a piece of shit, has solid range, and doesn't perform like a sack of Idaho potatoes - besides the nice folks in Fremont?

Pretty much all the car companies have talked shit and brought non-aspirational shit to the market. I've driven nearly every electric and hybrid out there. Kinda liked the Priuses over the years and the Volts - not on looks, but practicality, but come on. Even the i8 is terrible, especially at that price point.

Wait, are you trying to say that Tesla's look good?

Wow.

Wow.

Let's see: they are far more aerodynamic than any other electric or hybrid (measured in absolute terms by CoD times frontal area), look boring as hell and not like someone chopped off the rear and have no redeeming features. Being boring works. If you can name another electric or hybrid that looks better, gets 280 miles and is safer, be my guest. Actually if you can name one that does any of those 4 things, be my guest.

The P1, 918, and LaFerrari excluded.

Also stop using apostrophes when the subject isn't a possession.

I'm not comparing it to a 599 or something.

Still love you, just in jerk mode leading into the weekend after a long week.

Edit: also the only online person on any forum I've had with is jet whoI blocked. I should probably get back to watching Pineapple Express and enter a pedantic douche/dick rehab program tomorrow. tongue.gif

Edit2: Happy after the movie. Also, this made me laugh out loud - NSFW:

That's dirty, mike. Yeah just one old woody that runs on propane (?) lol. Nice snipe 'stilts. I shoulda known Chevy ran something dead similar back then. The Caprice to Crown Vic, ceptin' for the 2dr trucks, lol. Among a bunch of shite mid 90s+ Blazers I'd written off this was hiding

http://bit.ly/2dGGQMh

Just as sick as a Bronco for a winty beater 4x4, no doubt. Not sure on the pervert red upholstery though, :P
