If Honda is setting their residual under market they're fucking stupid as most people that can afford a lease on a 50k vehicle are probably smart enough to know they're getting ripped off. If I wanted the hassle to buying a vehicle to resell and I'd fucking buy the vehicle in the first place.

I don't disagree. It could have been moronic sales guys, but when I laughed at them about the lease payments on an accord exl and asked how they came up with that number that's what they just went down that path, so I said thanks and walked out.

So basically your purchase price is going to be 20k usd if you budget in the issues. That doesn't sound so terrible for what you're getting.

My thoughts exactly, friendo. Plus my indie is a 12min streetcar from work. Kinda fun, actually.

PS our colorful currency will be aesthetically superior to the vaunted greenback once you guys are done repudiating the Founding Fathers in favor of Harriet Tubman, Sylvia Plath, ..Noam Chomsky etc.

Andrew Jackson isn't really a Founding Father. He was just a kid during the American Revolution.

Good point but the court finds the joke stands.

He may not be a Founding Father, but he probably shaped national politics more than anyone else other than perhaps Washington, Jefferson, and Adams.

Well, no reason to throw away the stuff. wink.gif

I might be dealing with a similar dilemma potentially. -a v8 that comes with air suspension. That crap would be the first thing to go. Super nice car tho.

So many questions. Like will it basically be an RCF with a turbo6? Guessing it will have the JDM "Crown Athlete" powerplant. Would be crazy not to.

Having a laugh with my co-workers on how much the new 86's are a disappointment.

Then we agreed that the best thing either of us would do with one is put a built 4age or 3sge "Beams" engine in one. Build an O.G style 86 in a new shell. . . .

Really hope the new Supra isn't crap.

@horndog, are you going to buy when it gets released?
