That's the one downside to manuals -- you always have to be in shoes. Sucks in the summer.

Don't make the mistake of wearing running shoes or any shoes with thick soles and lots of cushion or padding. You won't be able to feel the clutch and your shifting will suck until you get used to it.

Yeah, boat shoes have been working pretty well so far.

Worth trying to wet sand the area that's peeling and applying spray can clear to it? It's legit in like one or two spots. The scratches I need to figure out how to deal with later. I'll try detailing and waxing and seeing if that covers it up enough.

There was an incompetent, obese villain in Spy Who Loved Me who chased Bond underwater and that's what he drove, until he was written out of the script at the last second.

1. Rubber soled loafers.

And unless you are extremely proficient with sandpapers and paint? I'd say no. It could cost a lot more if you eff it up. And is a small quick job for a pro.

That is not the Suzuki you are looking for. peepwall[1].gif

A man of ramuman's station in life can't be seen driving a Civic.  He's not a pleb like the rest of us (Pio excluded).

For those who roll the dice. .

I love it. I love that companies are pushing the envelope for autonomous cars.

As much as I enjoy driving, there are so many scenarios where getting driven at super low rates would be absolutely ace.

Imagine an über taking your drunk ass home for $3.50.

Awesomesauce.

Very very cool. Hope to see it come to fruition.

Also, the latest Teslas have two more forward looking cameras and more 360 degree radar capability. They're not currently used, but will be in future software updates. Tesla is saying true level 3 soon on shipping cars and perhaps a bit more - the previous system could at best do level 2.5ish because of hardware limitations.

The thing about autonomous driving is that you always have the option to take it off - no one is holding your feet to the fire.

After picking up my car yesterday, I had another appointment and was stuck in traffic on the 880 and bored out of my mind. While I was paying attention, Autopilot helped a ton; as such technologies improve, I can only imagine more and more scenarios where I'd use it. As a counter example, I'm planning on going on a backroads drive this morning and Autopilot won't even factor into the picture.

It gets 95 MPGe and has cheap insurance. I though it was as practical as a Civic. shog[1].gif

You're always thinking. I like that. I want you to offer you a position at Ramuman Industries. I'm giving a TED talk at Stanford on philanthropy this week, you should attend.
