Cars We Drive! - Page 1609

My driving test was 90 minutes of that and please don't stall and don't drive out into to the intersection if you can't make it over it.

Doors totally off in a wrangler is the only way to go. Also used fold the back seat up and put on a tonneau cover.  A 1/4 keg fit just fine standing up and I would snake the tap through to the front seat area (a long hose tap was mandatory).  Jeep w/no doors, multiple baseball caps on the top bar, fire extinguisher on the down bar (don't ask why), booming home made system, hidden keg and red cups.  Ahhhhh college days...

Says this: Accident reported with another motor vehicle. It hit a curb. (In 1998 same year as it was bought. First owner.)
and this: Accident reported. It hit a ditch / curb. (2015. Third owner.)

3rd owner says wheels were replaced after that.

Guessing it's an auto-pass right? Or is that only in the case of frame damage? I know accidents etc hurt resell, but only if there's frame damage and it wasn't repaired correctly, right?

Here's the car for reference. It's a 99 sport trim with 100k miles.

pass

For rtc
(Note: daily drove a NA for 2 years as only car.)

I actually think the NA is more lively than the NB's I've been in. (Been in about 2-3 of each now).

If they didn't have issues with airbag computer's, I'd have bought a mid 90's NA. I passed on one in pretty great condition for 3k with 100k on it because there's apparently no way to reliably fix the computer. They die and all the spares are old and drying up and there's no one making them right now. Kinda blows.

Mixed feelings. dozingoff.gif

Don't want to encourage anyone to buy a Miata.
(When better cars exist)

But want Rtc to just buy a damned car.

*shrugs*

Chances are that people with a rare car would also take care of it and garage it etc and not have cars that are rusty to the point of them falling apart if you look at them funny.
