The alfa romeos a 4c as well and is getting pretty good reviews.

There are a few good supercharger kits for the brz now too.

I doubt a Kei car, like a Daihatsu mira,or suzuki alto works could crack 1min20sec, and you know i'd be spanking it to within an inch of it's life. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif but they do offer cheap thrills, and are low risk for trying new things. It would also serve as my daily when the subie is off the road. For guys who aren't sure what we are talking about,

I do love the cheap, big, power a turbo can give, but I'm a NA fan on the track.

What are you developing? (if you can mention it)

Yeah, mostly i'm thrashing the twisties in the back roads of Chiba. Aiming to build a capable (monster)car on the street, and taking it to the track when i'm sure it can hang. We got some of the best tuners in the world here, and it's hard to be seen as a real player. Guys who frequent the Diy car thread know the journey.

This is my daily,
(sorry if you have seen it)

Sorry, i can't post publicly what i'm developing, but will pm you and a couple of other guys. Like Horndog and CJ52racers for thoughts and feedback.nod[1].gif

I have a feeling you're developing a twin turbo motor, not a twin scroll...

Horndog, the guy I'm working on some stuff with is building up a 99 gc coupe over time. He has a covered car in his driveway...I'm told it's his friends supra build in progress. Supposedly getting a skyline engine!

Barnfind!

7 Porsches, including an RUF original, and an early 70's 911 with the chrome bumpers.
I think i need one of these in my life. . . devil.gif

Toyota just lost the 24h of Le Mans with one fucking lap, 5 minutes, to go. I am sick to my stomach. Loss of power at 23:55. Absolutely cruel.

A co worker of mine bought one two weeks ago, I have sat in it, pretty useless back seats. He likes it though and claims it handles good. Here in Miami, his is the first I have seen in the wild. He also got the 4 cylinder turbo at a huge discount. This is a lease btw.

I just read about what happened. That has to be gut wrenching and to top it off they don't get a podium.

Thats Le Mans for you. Last year the leading GTE-AM car crashed with 46 minutes to go.

That happened to me once back in the day. Can't remember if it was Gran Turismo or Forza, but I was running one of those endurance races with hundreds of laps, and a power outage shut off my console while I was leading the last lap. I know the feels 😁

@Thrift Vader: Good luck in the tuning business! It's great that you're in a hot spot for it. I've always found I learn best when I'm among the best, so I wish you well.

I also hope you don't get those clients who think a parts upgrade alone can make up for the most important part in the car to improve - the nut behind the wheel. lol! It's true though. I've seen so many people who think tossing on this exhaust or that intake will make them drive faster on a course with turns. If you come across clients like these, gently advise them to get some driving instruction/coaching so they can take advantage of the extra power.

An extreme example: I was at an autocross and was co-driving my brother's car. I heard a couple guys talking about how they would drive faster if they had this or that done to their car. I couldn't resist, so I asked the organizer if I could drive my 6000lb, 3/4 ton, 4x4 pickup truck. He let me, and I actually beat a few cars. That should never have happened if they knew how to drive. lol!
