Then I will daily drive it to my sensible government advisory job, in my 3 piece. Because. smile.gif

Do they make them left hand drive for the UK market? Serious question.

I'm in Oman, not the UK. They don't sell the Camaro in the UK, or the Challenger. They just brought the Mustang, surprisingly, this year. I believe they do make a right hand drive Camaro for Japan.

Do moar burnouts!!

Went the new Penske dealership in my area. They sell Porsche and Lamborghini, and sponsor a cars and coffee every month.

Their service department is most impressive

A MONTH. THIRTY DAYS WITHOUT MY BABY WHILE I DRIVE A BORING ECONO SLUSHBOX RENTAL.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Could be worse.  You could have been parked and asleep in your bed and a drunk asshole driving the wrong way down a 1 way street hit another car before striking yours and knocking it up on the curb, cracking 3 wheels in the process and causing additional damage that led to the car being totaled.  So instead of waiting for your car to get repaired, you are battling Geico as they try to lowball the value of your car.  Did I mention the drunk asshole didn't get arrested or that you didn't realize all of this had happened until the next morning when you were running out to get breakfast?

I have a question: any of you guys in the US have a law enforcement connection who can check a partial VIN? I came across a car with a fake VIN. Last six digits and one letter before are correct, I think, I'm assuming because the faker wanted it to still match the engine block stamp.
I didn't buy it (wanted to!) but the dealer is still going to dump it on someone. Problem is the local registration now has the fake VIN. So I want some evidence of its origin to spoonfeed the local police. Anyone who can help? Feel free to PM.

I have a NYPD connection or 2

Don't give our GF ideas. This thread will be 20 pages of bitching if that happens. Also, for the record, GF seems like a nice guy that I'd have a beer with - I just like giving him a hard time.

You basically should be considered an employee-level access person at this point. As Jim Morrison would say, just break on through to the other side and see what's up with the GT3 RS

Had my car detailed by one of the best guys in SoCal yesterday and it took roughly 5 hours. As with most people genuinely passionate about cars, he was humble, super nice and stuck around for about an hour to talk about everything from cars to physics to our other mutual passion, hockey.

Car looked like a mirror afterwards.

The sad part is that tomorrow, I'm shoving everything I need for a multi-week trip into it and living out of the car (sleeping in hotels obviously) on my way to NoCal while the movers move the very few other things I own (except my Legos, which are coming along with me). The mover guy came to my place and was confused why I don't even own a dining table or a full couch and asked if another friend was coming with me and how I could fit what I needed into a car.

Bad pic that doesn't do it justice:

That's not my dealership - I buy my stuff across the way at Champion Porsche/Motorsport

This one is Penske - it just opened and it's a very impressive outfit. They had a Lamborghini dealer as well and they were doing a cars and coffee . Never seen as many aventadors in one place.

So then we went to the mall and the Tesla store had a white P90X (isn't that an exercise video) so we sat in it. Wife actually likes it

How many Porsche dealerships are there in Maimi? Prestige has one if not more as well.

Every time I hear about the Aventador, this picture (yes, I know it's not actually a vent, but funny) comes to mind:

Technically P90X is a workout video. The SUV is the Model X P90D (to ultimately spell out S3XY since Ford were dicks about the Model E). #being_pedantic

It certainly is cool and has a ton of deceptive room/storage. Even as a huge Tesla fan - I'd wait at least a couple of months for them to get the kinks worked. My friend and I drove a pre-production one pretty hard several months ago and liked it despite software and hardware glitches, etc. I can see it being a fantastic family DD once the kinks get sorted out.

It's not a video, but a program.

The city of Miami only has one - the Collection. Prestige is a Lambo dealer only, iirc.

But Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami (plus environs) are typically lumped into a single market referred to locally as "South Florida", and it has four dealers - Collection in Miami, Champion and Penske in Ft Lauderdale/Broward, and Braman in Palm Beach.

Florida overall is pretty nuts as a state. I think it has about 20 Porsche dealers. Probably not as many as California, though
