Yup, when we test drove the X3 for Mrs. Piob the SA told me the X7 has been green lighted and should be out for 2018.

Everyone is talking about electric cars and I am just wondering how they get taxed to help pay for roads.

I read somewhere that Mercedes is considering upping the ridiculousness and bring out a G Wagon 4x4^2 to the US.

Several pols have suggested taxing you based on miles driven.  This seems to be more common in states with electric vehicle adoption.

Let me stop saying "real bmw" because it sounds arrogant. But the only bmw's I'm interested in are the ones that I feel are still related by DNA to the E30 M3

Went to dat target and saw (and heard) one of the older 4.2L R8s.

Still an awesome car. Wow.

I went from an M3 to a Carrera S to an M3 and then to an X5 as my kids got older and taller and traveled with more things. I love the X5. It's speedy for an SUV, and feels great on long trips. I didn't look back and have no regrets..

My bf and I spoke this weekend. He Has 2008 A8 120KMILES AND debatining whether to pay $6,000 in repairs or trade/sell. Blue book is $12,000. I think this is a good case for leasing next time.

Thoughts

What makes this a good case for leasing?

I just think if maintenance is covered during the lease period, no expensive repairs during purchase. No?
