You drove 16k miles in 5 years?

I was completely unprepared for the bullshit that is the drive into the Keys when we went 3 years ago.  OMG.  Never again.

Ugh it was awful.  Not to mention we had our 1.5 year old in the car (rental) that was basically screaming the whole time while we went 5 miles in like 30 minutes.  :fu:

I've avoided returning to Key West because of the drive (we live in south FL). That road is very dangerous, a lot of deaths, and if there's an accident you're fucked.

I drive a Tahoe and see it as warranted protection against the drivers here. I see stuff every week that I never saw in almost three decades of living in the Midwest. People think they're legitimately entitled to run red lights. It'll be of those yellow/red lights a good driver occasionally goes through and thinks man, I should have probably stopped...and then 4 cars behind you go through it.

Fact: Florida has the states' shittiest drivers.

I always went to Florida with my grandparents who drove a dark blue Mercury Grand Marquis with blue cloth seats.  My grandpa was one to follow the laws so the whole drive from Ohio was at 55mph which used to be the normal speed limit in the 90s.

The worst part though was they never used the air conditioning so we had to suck air from the rear windows that didn't open very wide.  I love my grandparents but damn grandma turn on some A/C!

10k actually. Bought a CPO S2000 with 6k on the clock. Have worked from home for the past 3.5 years, and before that was taking a train into Philly, so my (auto) commute was ~3 miles round trip.

Also have a Jeep that I use when the weather sucks/when going for groceries/driving with the dog/when I need to have room for more than one passenger.

Looks like some whisper info on an Apple car coming to Motor Trend tomorrow.

There is no doubt in my mind about this. Completely supported too by a few studies I've read

I thought the drive back from the keys was nice...and I think my GF enjoyed her drive there...but probably helps that both were done mid-day on a weekday. I could see how awful it would get. Looked pretty bad on sunday afternoon when we were driving back to Key West from a morning visit to Big Pine and could see all of hte traffic heading the other direction.

Megan Mariah Barnes was meeting her boyfriend in Key West and wanted to be properly groomed for the visit.

So during the drive, she decided to shave.

Her ex-husband, who was in the passenger's seat, took the wheel while she focused on other areas,

I have so many questions. Why is her ex husband going to see her new bf?
