Speaking of Giulias, omg dat 2017. I'm not in the market right now but everything about it looks great. Anything to worry about besides Alfa's apparent dodgy reliability?

Not sure the lifestyle models are necessary, reminds me of the Ducati Scrambler social media blast.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on a Defender 90 back in the late 90's when I was in college, however my dad wouldn't bite as the closest Land Rover dealer to my school was over an hour away and those weren't known for their reliability. I ended up with a next gen Wrangler. I am still bitter to this day as that would have been a car to hold forever.

I fell in love with this car when I was 14 or 15. Great shot. Sadly, the 550 and 575 haven't dropped much in price, so still outside of my budget.

The first car I fell in love with was a Yellow 993 Turbo.  A friend had a car calendar on his wall and February was the Porsche.  The second car I started to like was the Jaguar XK120 in white with red interior.  Both of these cars excite me for different reasons.  One is a childhood poster on the wall while the other one just screams open air freedom and to enjoy the ride.

You may have missed the opportunity to catch bargain priced 550s of about 3-4 years ago when some had dropped into the 80s'.  Now 550's with modest mileage have moved well into 6 figure range.  The cheapest one I've seen with relatively modest miles was about $116,000 ...while many seem to range from $150K to the 200+ depending on condition and mileage.

Yeah, I kick myself for missing out on that, but I also didn't have the money back then. I wonder if they'll be considered a collectable. I've flirted with some stupid ideas for when the M4 lease expires - penciled in right now is still another euro delivery on a comp pack M4. If I did something stupid, I'd likely have to sell the Tesla, which, being the engineering/physics dork I am, would be a cold day in hell.

Saw a gorgeous mid 20 early 30 blond driving one exactly like that a couple months back.

I almost traded my Wranger for a Defender but instead bought a "family car".  Still pissed at that since beat up examples still sell for double the new price.  I'd like to say that if I ever decided to make an honest woman out of my g/f, I will find a new/lightly used 2015 Defender and keep it "her" home country to drive when we're down there

Always loved these as well; they share a lot of design language with the Supra. Spent a lot of time on the internet in high school looking at the Koenig 550. Every now and then there I catch a red Superamerica driving around.
