I'm jelly. If wifey didn't insist on the Macan i was prolly going to do Euro delivery on some M car

Are you going to do early lease termination?

It's going to be right in line with my current M4 lease end. BMW has been great about the ~4 week shipping period on my previous EDs, so I don't anticipate any issues on that front either.

Also, again, the Macan you got was an awesome choice. I never thought I'd fall in love with the baby Cayennes or the Carreras until my neighbors/friends got them - awesome cars.

Buddy of mine has a 6 speed 2003 540i sport aka the poor man's M5 in mint condition.  It seems 6 speed models are they are selling like hotcakes.  Anyway he found another one and bought it for 4200, put about $1100 plus some time and energy to make it sparkle and then sold it for $11,700 2 weeks later.

I wonder if Porsche is going to do the shooting brake panamera on the new facelift.

Friday night my friend with the new Cayenne and I did an interesting head to head comparison. His ride obviously demolishes mine in terms of acceleration and cornering but we got to talking about highway cruising at 80-100mph. Mine definitely wins there including cabin noise and road noise.

If I didn't make regular use of the cargo capacity of my car though I'd be all over that Porsche. It's really a fun car to drive.

Is it turbocharged? I thought it was just a V6.

Nope, bi-turbo six. I think it used to be an NA V-8.

You would like "dat exhaust" too as it has an active system so you can make it quieter or louder.

I'm looking forward to a next gen Panamera. I still can't get used to the look of it and wish they'd go for the Gran Turismo concept look. They seem to have used that as a design basis for the Macan and it came out great.
