@deepitm

What kind of hwy gas mileage do you get on your e46? I only get 20 mpg going 70 in sixth gear. Feels a bit low to me when others are saying they get 25-27 on the highway.

Do aftermarket headers and a tune cause the car to eat up that much more gas?

I get pretty awful mileage. About 22-23 on the hwy. 15-16 in the city. My car is stock.

Like the car makes you upset or the fact that there is no reason to buy one other than a political or lifestyle statement?

Nothing makes me road rage more than a fucking prius going 60 MPH in the left lane on a 65 MPH speed limit highway.

That seems really low. I presume you maintain your car well service wise. Is everything up to snuff on the S54? The entire car was brilliant, but finicky throughout the entire production run.

Anyone doing below the limit in the left lane needs to be shot, the same goes for people who don't keep right and drive side by side, so you can't pass.

You have to do what they do on the Autobahn.  Drive up behind the people clearly going faster than them, honk and flash your high beams.  Every the idiots people of Kentucky figured that out.

I know this will forever mark me as a douche, but I can admit to doing this when I am particularly prickly..

Actually people on the autobahn use their left indicator and not horn.

It doesn't work here though

Part of it may be the angle.  It's about 2" longer (overall) than the previous model while using virtually the same wheelbase length and width.  The height and overall curb weight is less than the previous generation too.  It's been classified as a full-size sedan, but I personally think it sits right in the middle of the mid-size and full-size.
