I wait with bated breath about the Faraday Future announcement today
post #19622 of 26282
Lol. I have never heard of this company, but calling it Faraday is hilarious. Let's create our own electric car company! But there's already an Edison company...should we be Volta? ohm?
Most of electric car companies have stupid ass names.

Fisker has changed its name to Karma Automotive and moved it to silicon Valley.

Go in a slightly different direction with Kirchhoff.  Otherwise you could always one up Faraday with Maxwell.

When I was young, I never thought I would say this - there is almost nothing I am less interested in than another supercar. The market is flooded. The engineering required to make an electric car cheap is far more interesting than just throwing more money at the problem.

I'd name mine Maxwell because it saves you the chore of naming the first four models: Maxwell, Ampere, Gauss and Gauss Model M

Volt and ampere are already car models.

I would name it Heimdall.

Have not seen this model of BMW since I was 17 yrs old. Was different from other BMW but, that is what made it cool.

Love these cars. My neighbour recently sold an immaculate 850CI in burgundy on black with the m-sport wheels and ~60k miles. Almost bough it as a fun DD, but just a bit old/exotic to be a reliable everyday vehicle.

I'll never understand leases. My bro just traded his 13 M5 for a 15 M5 w/ Competition Package and the payment is only $20 more per month. How does that make sense?
First mistake when trying to understand leases is focusing on the monthly payment.

in other lease news, McLarens are now leaseable. 2.2k a month or so
