Well, mid-60's is invoice price, and it's not that loaded. It's pretty hard to keep an M4 under $72k if you start with the baubles. Also, It's not easy to get invoice pricing but my BMW nerd coworker tells me he got $1500 over invoice. If you can get other incentives like manufacturer cash, BMW CCA rebate, etc you can come close.

Yes, absolutely. The BMW nerd mentioned above did his fourth ED a couple of months ago. All on leased M cars

My wife gets a BMW discount through her employer that allegedly stacks with all other incentives.  I wonder if I could stack that on an ED...

He said fairly loaded - which means dropping pretty much every option including the CCBs/leather/M suspension/DCT/metallic paint/yada yada.

Mine wasn't remotely that close, but I paid to have one of the first 20 made.

Had several military friends as a younger guy and they all got themselves posted to the Canadian base in Germany for their final tour. Buy your car there and the military ships it back for you.

Was out with a few Supra buddies on Sunday and then a Ferrari 308, DeTomaso Pantera GTS, and a Shelby pulled up beside us. We followed them to some parking lot in Potomac MD where their car club was meeting that might as well have been Shangri La. Bunch of other nice sports cars and exotics including a purple Diablo and 997 GT2. Nice surprise for our Sunday morning.

I would buy it just for the back story as long as I could become friends with guy and tell my friends about the 'friend' I bought the car from. For lack of grammar, I likely wouldn't introduce him to any of my friends - he'd be in the cloud and mysterious.

Did he really need WD-40 to lose his virginity?butbut.gif

Anyway, I hope he wiped off the seats before taking his mom to the movies. Assuming that she wasn't his date in 1986.
