e46 m3 community has to be the worst of all forums, they've turned a soon to be iconic model into a boy racer's wet dream

mod for the sake of mod, all aesthetic judgment out the window

Tough crowd...

I put them in because I wanted LED signals. I was back and forth with them but I like how they look when lit up. The travesty! Don't worry, guys... you don't have to drive it.

If I get tired of them, the stocks ones are just on the shelf :violin:

It really is amazing - guys used to buy $500 Honda shells and put 40x that into them, painstakingly choosing the parts and waiting months for things to arrive from Japan. Now BMW and Mercedes guys seem to buy the cheapest **** out there and dgaf what really goes on their cars.

haha ya, I have a buddy who got an eg 10 years ago (well after i retired from the jdm game and he always wanted to belong)

anyways, he paid i think 1500 for it? he then proceeded to dump 30k into it in the following years (he still has it and is still modding)

you go to a bmw meet and see guys who buy garbage replica csl trunks that don't fit and have more waves on the top than the pacific because they wanted to save some money

e46 m3 guys are notoriously the cheapest ***** on the planet and the worst of all customers to deal with (i have several friends who own shops)

I have a thing with replica things, they make me want to slap the **** out of people.

Just see all the idiots riding around on chinese OEM rep wheels instead of paying that little extra for something nice made in Germany, Italy or Japan, some them aren't that much more expensive the worst case I have seen was 300$ from rep to genuine.
