The Brabus is just excess- the MB version is a military/industrial application.

Pretty sure the double axel version (6x6) is G63 only, so no.

Yeah- I was off on that one- confused it with something else... Plenty of Sheik's in the dunes will pony for this one...

I don't know why anyone would buy it over an R8 other than the few people who want it because it's new and unusual. From a performance standpoint, it's about as fast as a Tesla Model S - but with the vaunted BMW unreliability going for it and without the 200+ mile range. I saw one in camo on the street about a month ago and it was indeed low and wide so it's got that going for it and I'm sure it handles well, but I think they missed the boat on powertrain. No one is driving this thing 15k miles a year and if you really want green cred you drive a Tesla roadster already.

Throw in the 400 hp turbo i6 from the new m3 (sorry, m4 - another smooth move by BMW) and you'd have a legit R8 competitor.

The new i8 is sold out for it's entire production run, and BMW could likely double, or even triple that, before current demand is met.

It's not meant to make sense; it's meant to be a halo car for BMWs i series and future styling language. It will do a masterful job and garnering attention and interest for this sub-lineup.

I would drive the fuck out of that double axel G.

+1. It's so "fuck you" that I want one.

I'm betting those Fiskers are just empty fiberglass shells.
I thought Fisker filed for bankruptcy? I doubt anyone takes them seriously at this point.

Doesn't help that their cars are ugly as sin, either.
Yeah- dunno what's up with Fisker- surprised to see those as well. The Karma was a thing of beauty. One of those concepts looks like an FF clone.
