The dealer near the corner of H Street? I've walked by there several times and looked in the window. I've seen some real beauties there. Next time I'm in DC I should do a test drive.

This morning I happened to see a 458 in white (the first one I've ever seen). It didn't do much for me, especially looking at it head-on (from across the intersection). It just didn't seem to have a lot of presence in white.

I have several clients who have Teslas now. They all love them and say they're are great to drive. I'm not sure what constitutes "great to drive" for them, however.

I noticed people in the States seem to prefer black cars, while Asian countries prefer white more.

I wonder if electric cars like Tesla are going to end up like beta tape recorders when hydrogen cars become the norm.

I test drove the Model S today. I'm impressed. That car has tons of power. The regenerative braking system is pretty interesting, it does most of your braking for you. The car is smooth and very well behaved on the road. I really enjoyed the test drive. Its a very nice car.

My friend put a deposit down on a Tesla two years ago on a whim before ever driving one. They called him March this year and told him his number came up. So he test drove it. Not a car guy at all but felt it drove much better than his 5 series. I drove it a month or so ago, the torque is just insane. Will beat a lot of cars off the line, but when the turbos and other "power" engines kick in the tesla will lag. The breaking was interesting and the steering was repsonsive. You could really push that car along. The crazy thing is how quiet it is, we pulled out of a shopping center and had to honk at some women crossing in front, they couldn't even hear the car.

I just bought a 2007 Acura RL Tech Package in Lakeshore Silver Metallic. Negotiated a fantastic deal that I'm really happy with; $2k below their listing price which was already $2k below KBB and Edmunds, in addition to getting way more for a POS trade in than anyone else offered. It was important to make my mom comfortable as she will drive this car more than I will in the winter months with the SH-AWD. She was more familiar with the v6 and a little worried of the torque from the v8 in the Volvo S80 we tried.

The seats in the RL are really something else; very supportive, even laterally which is surprising. The Navigation is a bit dated but I need to look into either upgrading the Nav DVD or look into some kind of video pass through for smartphone GPS to the Nav screen or some similar upgrade.

It needs new tires before the winter and I'll be replacing most fluids when it gets to 60k.

Everyone is really happy with it.

*edit* I forgot to mention that the dealership also included lifetime powertrain warranty on it. Engine, Crank, Transmission, Seals and Gaskets, Fuel and Cooling Systems (not the AC).

Few days late to the ferrari colour discussion, but this is a somewhat surprising nice combo on a Ferrari:

Green and tan is a pretty classic color combination (perhaps not for Ferraris) but it looks good on almost any car with high quality paint)

looks horrid there

Could be a bad detail job, photo setup/lighting, poor paint job, or something else entirely, but that green 458 looks plasticky... confused.gif not a great look.

I've always been partial to Green cars; esp Supras.

I was thinking exactly that this morning. I was stopped at a red light and this sweet dark blue Honda Accord pulls up. Driver had his sunglasses on, smoking a cigarette, and his seat raked all the way back so you could barely see his head.

I thought, man, those Hondas are definitely the final word in cool luxury.

That Ferrari green, is a non metallic color, so I wouldn't be surprised if it looked like that url.

Just google Ferrari Verde British
