Possibly will look at the GLK250 or ML350 diesel but we may end up in a Mazda CX-5 which would be lighter/more fun to drive and gets great mileage to boot.

In Europe you can buy the E300 Hybrid wagon with a diesel engine

Americans have been taught to think of diesel as "dirty" for decades and it is unlikely to ever penetrate the markets here because of that. Consumers have been taught from the get go that hybrids are "clean" running cars so will pick that every time.

That Lambo on Top Gear last night was pretty spectacular. Its called the Sesto Elemento, which means the 6th element, which in the periodic table is carbon.

The first week I had my car, a 16 year old with mom in the passenger seat backed into the front of my car. Back to MB Manhattan to be fixed. Is that paint transfer or scratched? I just succesfully removed paint transfer from the front of my car, but it took some good product and elbow grease.

My brother is looking at getting the diesel VW Jetta- lots of places in Canada to fill up. Surprised when we were in the US there weren't as many yellow pumps frown.gif

so is that sesto elemento supposed to be a foreshadowing of what the new Gallardo replacement is supposed to look like? I would imagine so, or else, Lamborghini would kind of be wasting their time...

In general, these types of cars are all going carbon fiber. From that perspective, yes. This car is not much different to what the Ferrari FXX was to the Enzo.

Turns out it was all just paint transfer, no real damage. Scratchx has saved the day. So relieved, got it all off and can't even tell it happened. smile.gif

Am thinking of the new Maserati Ghibli. It is not launched in the UK till September but the local dealer will have one to look at next week.

I've got the Supra Turbo as my unicorn car but I'm putting too many miles on it cause my daily bores me to tears.

I'm jonesing at an Evo X for a new daily'ish (I only drive 10k miles a year) that I wouldn't have to worry about so much.

Does anyone have one? Driven one? Do they have noticeable turbo lag?
