Picked up a silver metallic 2013 ML350 yesterday. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Got a lease which will be perfect for the timeframe where my fiancée who is active duty military might be moved.

BTW, leasematic app for iPhone is incredible. Most useful tool ever when negotiating and a dealer is trying to sneak things in.

I'm just going to leave this here and back away.

How do those guys ever take the Onsen? That's what I want to know.

Well, so much for the R8. Mrs. TC took the S in for service yesterday and ended up chatting with our sales guy. Guess we are on the list for a new S now.

^^^I'm anxious to see the new S, particularly the 63. Reviews have been great so far.

Japanese car culture is a bizarre, spectacular thing.

Saw on another forum, that a member already had ordered a S65.

Arrgh, speaking of Mercedes, looks like they won't be selling the e250 wagon in the US just e350 or AMG. Was really hoping to pick one up a diesel version this winter (high 30 highway mpg is attractive) as it would be great option for us but may flip to something else. Possibly will look at the GLK250 or ML350 diesel but we may end up in a Mazda CX-5 which would be lighter/more fun to drive and gets great mileage to boot.

Yeah, the car you want has the triple whammy going against it - small displacement, wagon and a diesel. Three things the American market hates. I'm particularly frustrated about why diesel seems to be dying here and consumers are backing hybrid powertrains.

Big time. Almost all of our miles are highway so diesel would be perfect for us, particularly due to the extended cruising range because we hate filling up. May look at cayenne diesel if they are leasing well.

I for one would think they are better looking cars thus there would be no reason to bring them to US. US consumer needs ugly and roomy not stylish.

So, you want the French car makers to come back? wink.gif
