Anyone have experience with G-Wagens? There's one for sale locally that is well within my budget and I'm giving it serious consideration. I really need to stay off Craigslist, though. Last time this happened, I ended up with an RRS.

I'd imagine a lot of the parts for a G-wagen in the US are so expensive that they'd make your eyes water, and I can't imagine what transmission work costs, but the power unit is standard MB fare, the electronic harnesses are from an old C-class (i.e. very simple and without many gadgets or extras to break) and the build quality is old world Benz, so it should be pretty reliable.

yes. Manhattan residents don't have to drive during rush hours.

Any recommendations on a car that gets good gas mileage? I test drove the Dodge Dart last week and before I decide on it, I'd like to see what else is out there.

Hyundai Sonata, VW, Toyota.

Weirdly, every Dodge Dart I've seen in person I've actually thought to myself "damn, that's actually a good looking car". It has a nice stance for a small guy.

Competitors would be Hyundai Elantra, VW Jetta, Toyota Corolla (kind of a POS), Honda Civic and maybe Fit (stretch comparo), Ford Focus, Mazda 3 (redesign coming soon).

nice looking car inside and out (besides the gross orange color, obviously). Not sure if this is what I'd get with my $100K though.

This doesn't look much like a Jaguar to me.

Tail lights look like are copies of the headlights from a Ducati 1098/1198

I don't hate it, but it is way over priced. The XK-R is about 15% more expensive in the UK.
