Why do sports when you can wear skinny jeans?

Or you can make your head as big as Kid Cudis so that the silhouette of the big shoes and skinny jeans balances out.

jordans have their own place in history. the iv/v/xi are some of the most classic sneakers ever made, but the shit they release now is just utter crap. I still wear mine for the gym and occasional balling.

Can something from the '80s even be called a classic yet?

I'd say yes. It's 2010 already and Air Jordan is in it's 25th year. Air Jordan was an innovator too, iirc the XI's were the first ones to use patent leather on sneakers so you could say they paved the way for all the others, including Lanvins with patent toes.

I would rock space jams, black cat III's, IV's and V's....everything else NOPE!

Anybody want to buy XI's? This is still my all time favorite.

Old pic but I still have all of these in my closet somewhere. I really need to start selling them before they start yellowing/cracking.
Far top right is an OG from '96.

Air Jordan III and IV are two of my favorite sneakers ever.

wtf what size are you. here I thought you were all about the paul smiths but damn that collection would make dicks hard on hypebeast.

I wear size 9.5-10.5. And I'm afraid those XI's are just a small part but worry not SF, I won't soil the forum with any more pics.

The best basketball shoe on the court is still the Air Jordan XIV.

+1 on the xiv's rfx. been playing in those since hs back in 2000 and up. probably been through atleast 5-6 pairs.

I'm so glad I sold all of my J's, I still have a soft spot in my heart for them (atleast some of the og's, xi's, iv's, iii's, etc) but they make so many damn retro's now it would be too much to keep up. I probably got out of the game at the best time, around 2003 and sold all of them for a nice chunk of change (had like 100+ pairs brand new). They are probably worth half of that now with all the retros and re-retros.

I'm wearing Black/Gold Terminators today if that means anything?

no love for the xi's? I loved the og's with the icey soles!

nil- damn right the iii's and iv's are my fav as well. the cement's and black/red, oh so nice.

ITT - People going back to what they were before they discovered SF. I understand all the hype is stupid but if you get like the retros you basically get the same shoe and it's usually around $100-$150 which isn't that outrageous compared to some things that people buy here. Anyway yea I'm just arguing for Air Jordans I to V, VI and VII are slightly arguable and the Concord XI is the only really athletic looking sneaker that I will ever make an exception for. Jordans are the reason why the sneaker game exists whether you're that ultimate Nike/Jordan head or random collab head or the shoes in that baller sneaker thread. The early ones really aren't that bad.

Thats awesome RFX45. I don't think the XI's are the best looking, but they are my favorite.

If they made all white or all black plain leather AJ1's I would cop a new pair every year(no lows).
