An update to mention that we have survived the first year and I agree with all the above posters that mentioned how amazing twins can be. It has been whirlwind of non-stop action but I would do it all again without any hesitation. And now, let year 2 begin.

That sounds great. Right now, they're between the stage where you can physically contain them and the stage where they understand rewards and punishment so they can think about their choice of action. Hopefully, we'll get to that latter stage soon because I'm not enjoying the nights right now.

Yep...we are at this stage now. And I fully understand the "fog" that you guys referred to earlier. crazy.gif

Probably too late but if there is a parents of twins club in your town join it. We got our extra crib there as well as a second hand twin stroller.  I had a two year old when the twins showed up so we had some of what we needed. Dydee Diaper did a deal on twins where if you paid for one the other twin was free. It came in handy when they showed up with 180 diapers a week for the first 6 months and cut way down on the number of disposable diapers we had to buy. We only used them when we were away from home.

The biggest advice I can give you is you will survive it. My twins are now 25 years old and one is getting married next weekend. They turned out pretty well if I say so myself.

That's the best advice of all...and something to look forward to indeed.
