If either you or @TheNeedMachine can suggest how to best list items without including the names of similar designers, I'd really appreciate the help. I see a lot of sellers doing what I did in one way or another, so I figured it wasn't a big deal.

Take your listing, remove all the names of brands that are not the item you are selling, then post...


I understand trying to generate more page views for your items, but its irritating trying to wade through listings to find something specific when people post numerous brand names on a single item. There is no rule against it, its just annoying and misleading.

Actually, ebay does have a rule against it. It can get your listings pulled, and if you do it a lot, they can ban you. Granted, the vast majority of listings with brand name misuse run without issue.

I get that, but are there tips for how to get the best visibility for your items?

It just takes practice. Follow the successful sellers on the forum and emulate their listings, until you come up with your own formula.
